The home of the elite Trump National Golf Course, all residents of The Point must maintain at least a social membership to the club. With a coffee shop, restaurant, golf shop, mini grocery, pool & recreation area, you will want to join the club beyond a social membership. Davidson is our own little “Mayberry” just half an hour from Charlotte’s Uptown. Small town charm just oozes from this college town and beautiful historic area. You are conveniently located to access several towns in the Lake Norman area from this lovely community. Uptown Charlotte is always growing and the diverse urban neighborhoods, with modern, high-rise condos, turn-of-the-century Victorian houses, apartments, town houses, you will find the home you want in this beautiful city.
Birkdale and Birkdale Village is an Arnold Palmer golf course community. The community features a residents clubhouse, junior Olympic swimming pool, two children’s splash pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and a variety of social activities designed to promote a cohesive/friendly neighborhood. Birkdale is about 15 miles north of Uptown Charlotte. Enjoy the shops & restaurants at Birkdale Village and walk the greenway or the neighborhood streets. New Whole Foods just down the street and Northcross Shopping center provides everything you need off one exit.
Moving to Charlotte, you quickly learn about the charm that oozes from Dilworth. A largely, walkable community, you can forgo the car and walk to many parks, shops, businesses and restaurants. Not to mention, just walking through the streets of Dilworth are beautiful and enjoyable. The proximity to Uptown is perfect to live in a house and still enjoy all of the conveniences of the area and Uptown. You won’t find a lot of land here, but you’ll have an adorable home close to Uptown with pretty cool neighbors. Myers Park is bounded by Queens Road to the north; Providence Road to the east; Sharon Road to the south; and Park Road to the west. Neighborhoods that border Myers Park include Dilworth and Sedgefield to the west, Eastover to the east, Charlotte center city to the north, and South Park and Foxcroft to the south. Myers Park is widely considered to be the most affluent and reputable neighborhood in the city of Charlotte. Drive Queens Rd and we are sure you will agree. Large lots, mature trees and massive unique homes line this beautiful road. Great area to walk or ride your bike to the parks or greenway.
The Cotswold neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina most likely takes its name from a large shopping center, Cotswold Village Shops, located at the intersection of Randolph and Sharon Amity Roads. Cotswold is emerging as one of the more desirable areas for living and shopping with close proximity to Uptown. Many 1950s and 1960s homes are being remodeled and sold. The area is neighbored by Randolph Park, Echo Hills, Grier Heights, Myers Park, Oakhurst, Providence Park, Sherwood Forest, and Wendover/Sedgewood.
SouthPark is a large neighborhood about 6 miles south of Uptown Charlotte built up around the upscale SouthPark Mall. SouthPark Mall is the largest shopping mall in Charlotte and all of North Carolina. You can find all the high end shops your heart desires. The area is geographically centered at the intersection of Fairview Road and Sharon Road. In addition to being home to the mall, SouthPark is also a residential area and one of the largest business districts in Charlotte and the state of North Carolina. Living in SouthPark allows you so many conveniences to shops and restaurants and some great areas to walk, run or ride a bike.
Ballantyne is an upscale neighborhood area in South Charlotte, adjacent to the South Carolina border. Ballantyne offers many shopping and dining conveniences. Just far enough away from the Uptown Charlotte hustle & bustle but with all the conveniences that you don’t even need to leave the area. If you sit through the traffic on 485 and 77 to get to Uptown, we’re not sure you would want to leave. Home of the beautiful Ballantyne Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa, you can easily take a mini-staycation in your back yard. Check out the area, but make sure you are okay with the traffic, if you need to commute Uptown.
Welcome to Noda/ Plaza Midwood! Known as the two most “hipster” neighborhoods in Charlotte, this area is the up and coming trendiest place to live. The area proudly sports an eclectic mix of shops, breweries, tattoo parlors, pawn shops and clothing stores as well as a cluster of restaurants to please you foodies!
