June Events 2017 Charlotte & Lake Norman

 

June in Lake Norman is active on and off the lake.  It is also one of the busiest closing months for real estate. Hopefully you will enjoy many beautiful days on Lake Norman.  We are spoiled to live in such a beautiful place.  Be safe and have fun!

This month Lake Norman’s newest brewery, Eleven Lakes Brewing, hosts their grand opening on June 3rd.  Don’t forget summer is in full swing and 2nd Friday Arts & Music Festival is every month through the fall.  Check out our top picks for events in the Lake Norman area for June 2017.  

1.  Pound Out Pediatric Cancer – Street Festival

  • Sunday, June 4th, 4:30 – 8 p.m.

2.  Summit Solstice Relay & Festival

  • June 17th
  • at Summit Coffee Outpost location on Davidson College campus
  • Benefiting Team Summit Foundation to provide camp/sport scholarships for low-income families
  • Sign up for the 12 hour relay…bring a team for some extra fun!
  • Stick around or just come for the after party – live music and Sierra Nevada!

3.  Cornelius Food Truck Invitational

  • June 17th, 12 – 8 p.m.
  • at Oak Street Mill
  • Just as it sounds, 15 food trucks will compete for your vote as “Champions of Old Town”.
